Short films 'documentary-style' I've produced in Thailand

'She Came From A Village'
A short rural Thailand documentary
I took a week long journey into the heart of rural Thailand's Isaan region to LIVE and LEARN with the LOCAL VILLAGERS. I ate with them, I drank with them, I laughed with them, they laughed at me and I captured LIFE in a remote Isaan village.
The short film touches on themes including Thai food, Thailand Farming Practices, Customs & Traditions, Thailand Drug Abuse & Addiction, Crime in Rural Thailand, as well as investigating why young thai girls and boys leave their regional homes and travel to Phuket, Pattaya, Koh Samui & Bangkok sometimes as young as 14.

Thailand's "CRAZY" pill
The back-yard stimulant medication known as Yaba
I investigate the history and dangers of the back yard stimulant medication known in Thailand as YAA BAA.
As someone who worked with addicts for 15 years in Australia I made this short film for educational purposes.
The film is neither a condemnation nor recommendation

''Treachery, Tragedy & Resilience'
A short rural Thailand documentary
One day Lele received a horrible phone call, tragedy had struck her family in the village in Isaan, rural Thailand....
A treacherous, tragic, singular event altered the course of Lele's whole life and also that of 3 young Thai boys.
Filmed in the her childhood village, Ubon Ratchatani, whilst I spent a week camping and living with her 3 orphaned nephews. This is a hard story to tell and some of it is not easy to hear. I've tried to soften the watch but interspersing hopeful and joyous clips hanging out with the young thai boys as well as the documented the funny aspects of rural life in a remote Thailand farming village.
